Poem in First Things

First Things, “America’s most influential journal of religion and public life”, published Andrew’s poem, “Sounds of Kyoto”, in its December 2025 issue. The poem is, in fact, a suite of six poems, six tanka set in Kyoto exploring the sounds of dragon flutes, bonsho, windchimes, windbells, shakuhachi and taiko.
