Poem in First Things

First Things, a magazine published in New York by the Institute on Religion and Public Life, published Andrew’s poem, “This Tinnitus”, in its December 2020 issue. The poems is a set of four haiku:

This Tinnitus

This tinnitus—
its tintinnabulations
so whiningly thin!

. .ii
This tinnitus—
tiny and tinny and yet
so terribly loud!

. .iii
This tinnitus—
its flatline shrilling is so
utterly tireless!

. .iv
This tinnitus—
unresolvable until
the resurrection.
